LICS Summer Food Drive May 25, 2008 Welcome to the LICS’ Annual 2008 Summer Food Drive The food items in the LICS Annual Summer Food Drive are necessary for every box of food given to families. Therefore in Thanksgiving, we ask everyone to remember the LICS’ Food Pantries. As you go shopping for your groceries, simply add an item or two for the LICS’ Food Pantry. If you forget to bring the food item to the church on the designated Sunday, we welcome the item on any other convenient week. All of our food pantries receive food on a regular basis during operational hours. Please see below for the addresses and telephone numbers of our Food Pantries. In the year of 2007, we fed 3, 273 families or 8,047 people. In 2007, we fed an average of 273 families or 671 people per month. Food For Living (FFL) is a Social Service Ministry that provides food for people age 65 years and older or people living with disabilities and living on the USDA income guidelines. Through FFL, LICS fed an average of 500 individuals or 250 families once per month in 2007.
