
Emergency Services consist of services for families
and individuals in an economic crisis struggling to meet their basic
needs of food, clothing, and shelter. Our financial assistance services
provide limited funds for electricity, rent prescription and heating
sources. The design of Emergency Services is to provide a short-term
solution for a family or individual in immediate threat of hunger or
financial crisis. Below is a description of average number of
families/individuals served through our Emergency Services in a year.
An average of 5,000 families or 13,000 people request
Emergency Services
An average of 3, 000 families or 7,000 people receive food from our
pantry
An average of 1,500 families or 3,800 people receive clothing at
no cost
An average of $62,000 are authorized for financial assistance to
families/individuals
An average of 990 request for miscellaneous services (examples:
children/adult diapers, baby formula, adult nutritional supplements,
personal care products, and household cleaning supplies)
